Acorn Dairy Hi-Phos

This is an excellent Vitamin & Mineral containing all the recommended levels of minerals & vitamins the cow needs during lactation. A high level of Phosphorous is included to improve energy metabolism which is vital in getting the best possible response out of your feed. Protected minerals such as Bio-plex Copper and Zinc which are standard in this mineral give enhanced general health to the animal.

Magnesium is included in our feeds separately to the mineral in the form of Calmag. Magnesium helps to reduce the incidence of Grass Tetany. Cows cannot store Magnesium in their body for any more than 4 hours so it must be made available to them every day in the form of a nut or through the water system.
